It’s that time of the year again; the BMW Motorcycle Club Cape’s annual tour will be to Kleinplaas Holiday Resort, Oudtshoorn on the 26th to 28th October 2007. (Venue used for the BMW ABBG in 2005) Oudtshoorn is very centrally situated and offers some stunning out rides. Off road to De Hell and routes via Meiring’s Poort or Robinson Pass, spring to mind. Bookings are open. We have booked 20 x 4 bed standard open plan chalets at R163.50 per night per person and 12 x 4 bed luxury open plan chalets at R186.00 per night per person. Breakfast Ride - Dirt and Tar options - Sunday 20 Jan 2018

Our breakfast ride this Sunday will take us to Du Vlei Farm Stall in Hermon.  This is a dual ride, so there will be a dirt and tar option.  The tar ride will be via Du Toitskloof Pass through Ceres to Hermon. 

The route for the dirt ride will be decided on the morning depending on the number of participants.

More details at the briefing on Sunday morning.

We'll leave from Engen Plattekloof, located in Plattekloof Village Shopping Centre (the normal meeting place) at 08h00 sharp.

This ALL TAR TRAINING DAY RIDE  will be for BMW & other brand dual purpose and street bikes.

This type of training day ride will appeal to those that are new to riding / feel the urge to improve their tar riding skills / those that commute on a daily basis / to be more street wise as the summer months on our doorstep.

The focus will be on: 

- rider confidence going through corners,

- keeping your line,

- looking through the bend.

I choose your beautiful place for many reasons but one of the major is the motorbike. I'm a pround BMW owner from more than 35 years. From an R80RT to the last GS (not the 1250).

Please join me for an easy, all tar, Breakfast ride over Du Toit's Kloof pass to the Opstal Restaurant in the Slanghoek valley.

Please join us for a weekend ride to Arniston, where we will overnight in the Arniston Spa Hotel.  On Saturday night we will be treated to a lovely dinner in the hotel, and on Sunday morning we will enjoy breakfast in the hotel.

There will be an on-road tar group and an off-road gravel group.  Routes and departure details will be communicated to all participants closer to the departure date.
