Ever wanted to ride Off Road (Dirt bikes) in the Transkei?

Every year a group of us from Cape Town ride the Transkei for a week. We have been doing it for many years.

We are again doing it this year In May and we have 2 places available in the group.

We stay over in Hotels and our meals are included in the price.

Partners are welcome.

The ride suits "Funduro" (Weekend warrior) riders with a good amount of experience. Too much experience and you may get a bit bored, too little and you are going to sweat blood.

Bikes below 300cc are recommended.

You will have to be riding fit as we ride for about 5 hours per day for 7 days in all types of terrain and weather.

You would need to get yourself and your bike, fuel, spares, etc to the Transkei and back again using your own transport or buddying up with other members of the group and sharing costs.

The average age of the group is probably mid 40's (the oldest is 65) and includes some ex Enduro (retired) riders.

Let me know if you are interested and I will send you the details.

Looking forward to the ride, this time on a trusty Honda CRF230F! Gear needed for En/Fun-duro is totally different from that of Adventure riding. I can use my boots and Leatt Brace, but that's about it! MX helmet and goggles, knee, chest, shoulder protectors, pants, vests, water bladder backpack, base layer, the shopping list becomes interesting☺
