There is approximately 550 000km of dirt road in South Africa, Adventure awaits.

Hi there! I recently bought a GS650 although I've been riding for a while I am very new to touring/adventure riding. I would like to do day trips and as my confidence builds perhaps do longer weekend camping trips. Any like minded enthusiasts are welcome to contact me.

Hi all. My name is Johan.

We moved to Cape town 5 years ago bringing along my first GS that only a couple of months in Cape Town.

Now at last I got my LC

Me and the wife enjoy the outdoors and exploring, Bergbok is but one of the ways we do it

We always do it together and now want to take it to the next (offroad) level.

My name is Riaan, I am divorced, have a 21 year old son living in Durban. I work overseas, managing the clearance of landmines and unexploded ordnance in post war countries (in short, I blow shit up :-) ) - I have been riding a lot of off road before, but only started riding on the road about 6 months ago when I bought a Honda NC700X. I traded it in recently for a BMW F800GS because I want to be able to go off road as well.

I've hit a midlife crises! Haha. for years now I always wanted to get back on a bike. Did a lot of research before I settled on my current choice: F650GS 2007 It's my starter to get back into things. I think I'm going to enjoy the ride. Quentin

I live in Northern suburbs. done some trips to Namibia, swartberg, karoo etc.try to ride as often as possible

I've been riding Harleys for a couple of years having come to motorcycling late in life (age 52+) but need the versitility of a BMW to get down mountain tracks as well as cruise so i bought the GS about 4 months ago and still own the HD Road King. I would appreciate advice and training on off-roading and generally in handling my bike better

Hi I am an offroad and enduro rider, currently on a Husqvarna 250 TE and race in both Western Cape Championships. I have finally taken the plunge and decided to try my hand at riding on the road, seeing as all my friends go on all these fabulous Adventure Biking weekends, and what better bike to do it on than a BMW 650. I'm taking delivery of her tomorrow and frankly I can't wait! WHOOP WHOOP ....! Update 08-01-2016: 4 months later and I've already upgraded to a 2010 F800 GS. This beast is a lot wilder than the timid and tame G650, but I'm loving every minute of it and am up for the challenge! Whoo hoo!!! Cheers Tarryn

All the way from sunny Johannesburg. Love the planes, trains and automobiles. I have always had a love for motorcycles. Mostly modern super sports however I recently dipped my feet into the cafe racer pool by completing a 2012 Honda CBR250R as a Cafe for my fiance, I am now looking to start my own project. a Newly acquired 82 R100.

Hi my name is Andrew. I took delivery of my F800GS 2009 on Saturday. After riding a Motomia Terra Strada 250 for a while this is quite a Beast to get used to. I should not have skipped leg day, coming to think of it I shouldn't have skip gym altogether. I'm looking forward to do some training courses and doing some trips.
