Points: 2

As it’s been a while since our last visit to this bay of the sleeping beauty, we’ve decided to make it a 2-nighter and have a relaxed weekend. If you have the need for a break away to the coast with a combination of a little bit of the Klein Karoo, this is the weekend you’ve been waiting for.  Lots of fresh air, the rolling waves and the peaceful views of this fishermen’s town.  There will be ample GS time, but also enough time to relax, go for a walk and enjoy the charming seaside village with its harbour and fishing community.

The group will depart from BMW Motorrad Donford Stellenbosch on the Friday after lunch and travel directly to Still bay on tar. On Saturday the route will take us on the less travelled, scenic gravel roads along the coast line and towards the Little Karoo. We will be spoilt with some mountain passes and lots of photo opportunities.  This will be a relaxed off-road weekend and thus suitable for riders of various experience levels as well as pillion friendly. Regret….not suitable for rank beginners.

Our accommodation on this 2 nighter will be at the “Osler Place” luxury holiday apartments.

5 fully furnished self- catering apartments, each with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen & living room, patio with braai and 1 lock-up garage has been reserved for your enjoyment.

We can accommodate a maximum of 30 participants as follows:

11 Couples Sharing

8 Single Persons Sharing

  • Snacks and light supper on Friday evening (inclusive to the trip cost);
  • Coffee, rusks, sugar, milk to start off the day;
  • Accommodation as abovementioned;
  • Back-up vehicle and crew;
  • Wood, ice, garden chairs for outside braai
  • We have arranged for a communal area where we will get together for a Bring and Braai, fun, laughter and cameraderie.
  • Please note that you will have to be self-sufficient for Saturday evening’s braai/meal and all beverages on this trip.
  • We have made lunch reservations at Rooiberg Lodge for Saturday.  Their mouth-watering hamburgers will fill the empty spot.  This will be for your own account

COSTS: (2 nights)

Couples Sharing – R950.00 pp

Singles Sharing – R950.00 pp

Single Supplement (Own room with Queen bed) – R1750.00 pp

Friday evening snacks and supper: Inclusive in the price

Booked and paid for myself and Andre.  Looking forward to the weekend as I have recently brought my own bike (will still be going as a pillion to Stilbaai) - I am a serious newbie to biking so will appreciate any advice especially from the lady riders.

There are always girls willing to ride!  You more than welcome to give a shout when you want to ride.  I just have to take some English lessons because I speak it very deliciously.

Thanks Marinda, with your delicious English en my Afrikaans met 'n engelse aksent we will come right. I am sure after a wine or two around the fire in Stilbaai your English will become even more delicious and my Afrikaans sal baie meer fluent wees.
